David Prishchenko is the Founder, Film Director, and Creative Lead of ANKURA FILMS, a faith-based film and series production company dedicated to filling the internet with meaningful, Christ-centered storytelling.

At ANKURA FILMS, David serves as the primary Film Director, with a strong focus on actor direction and emotional storytelling, while also wearing multiple hats as a producer, screenwriter, scene planner, and company lead. His role goes beyond directing scenes—he is responsible for shaping the overall vision, tone, and spiritual heart of each project, ensuring every story feels intentional, authentic, and impactful.

David's mission is to grow ANKURA FILMS into a thriving Christian film community—a place where creativity, excellence, and faith come together to inspire families, encourage belief, and reflect God through storytelling. His greatest passion lies in guiding actors to deliver performances that feel real, honest, and emotionally grounded, helping each show look and feel exactly as it was meant to.

David's path to directing began at a young age through a deep love for creativity and people. As a kid, he created countless short videos across platforms like Vine, YouTube, Snapchat, and Instagram. While being on camera was fun, what mattered most to him was collaborating with others and creating something together.

That passion naturally evolved into video editing, camera operation, and eventually professional work in real estate media and wedding filmmaking. It was during weddings—working closely with couples—that David discovered the heart of his calling. His role wasn't just to capture images, but to help people feel the moment, relive emotion, and preserve meaning through visual storytelling.

Through those experiences, David realized that directing is about far more than cameras—it's about connection, emotion, and purpose. That realization confirmed what he had felt all along: he was called to become a film director and to use storytelling as a way to move people and glorify God.

Today, David continues to pursue that calling through ANKURA FILMS—creating faith-based stories that are heartfelt, intentional, and rooted in hope.
